The Midmar Mile is the largest open water swimming event, so sayeth the Guinness Book of Records. It is something not to be missed in Durban 9 – 10 February.

The Midmar Mile is a swimming race held annually in February at the Midmar Dam north of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Each year, it draws thousands of competitors, from serious international athletes and Olympic medalists to purely recreational swimmers. (more…)
